Voice Podcast
Voice Podcast allows instructors and students in a Blackboard course to record podcast episodes directly online or upload files created elsewhere. You can then create a podcast to which anyone can subscribe, even people who are not members of the course.
To set up a Voice Podcaster, go to the Edit View of any Content Area and choose Wimba Podcaster from the drop-down menu in the Add bar. Provide a title and other relevant information, adjust the settings as desired and click Submit.
To participate in the podcast, visit the Wimba Podcaster link that was added in the Content Area of the course site. In the window that opens, click New to create a new recording.
In the window that opens, record the podcast episode and click Post to submit the recording.
Use the RSS Feed button to subscribe to the podcast in your RSS feed reader or podcast application (e.g., Google Reader, iTunes). When new podcast episodes are published, listen to them in your feed reader.
