Subscribing to forums
If a user subscribes to a forum or thread, they receive an email when a forum or thread has been updated. When creating a forum, faculty/instructors can choose to allow students to subscribe to threads or entire forums, and also decide whether students will be able to receive a simple link to the updated post or receive the entire body of the post in their email.
Subscribe to a forum - If students are allowed to subscribe to a forum, they can enter the forum and click Subscribe.
Subscribe to a thread - If students are allowed to subscribe to a thread, they can enter a forum, select the particular thread and click Subscribe.
