Some new features in Blackboard 6 include:
- Ability to manage display of courses in the My Courses module
- Totally customizable within-course navigation menu
- Ability to copy content between courses or between places in the same course
- Quick edit feature to make adding course content easier
- Improvements to test and survey management
- New assignments tool to make collecting and returning student papers online much easier
- Improved text entry options
- Improved virtual classroom
