Logging In to Blackboard
Blackboard uses Duke Net ID for its login system. Blackboard users will use the same ID and password they use for their Duke e-mail. All login questions can be addressed to the OIT Help Desk, 684-2200 or submit a help request.To change your Blackboard password:
- If you login to Blackboard using a Duke NetID and password, go to Online@Duke to change your NetID password.
- If you login to Blackboard with something other than a NetID, or if you’re not sure you use a NetID, submit a help request or call the OIT Help Desk at 684-2200 to change your password.
To be reminded of your Blackboard password:
For most users, their Blackboard password is the same as their Net ID password. To be reminded of your Net ID password, contact the OIT Help Desk at 684-2200 or submit a help request.
If you do not use a Net ID to access Blackboard, contact the OIT Help Desk at 684-2200 or submit a help request, specifying that you need to be reminded of your Blackboard password.
Non-Duke students who are officially enrolled in Duke courses, should receive a Duke NetID, automatically receive a Blackboard account and be enrolled in their Blackboard sites. If this hasn’t happened for a student in your class, submit a help request.
For non-Duke persons who are not officially enrolled in your class but still need course access, submit a help request asking that a Blackboard account be set up for that term (include name, e-mail address, affiliation and reason for requiring access). When the account is set up, add the users to your course site.
