Giving and Receiving Assignments
To give and receive assignments to students through Blackboard:Follow the instructions in the Add Assignment section of the Blackboard Instructor Manual. Assignments submitted by students will be automatically listed in the Blackboard Gradebook to be viewed and graded.

Note: When specifying which file formats students should use for assignments, see the Office of Information Technology's Supported Software list for applications available to students in the computer labs.
Blackboard's Digital Drop Box also allows students to submit files with time and date stamps attached, but files submitted this way will not be automatically registered in the Blackboard Gradebook.
