Advanced Configuration

Edit Course Title
Edit your course title and description by clicking Control Panel > Settings > Course Name and Description, modifying as necessary, and clicking Submit.

Course Menu style and color
Choose a navigation menu style and color by clicking Control Panel > Settings > Course Menu Design > Course Design, choosing Button or Text based menu, selecting colors/patterns, and clicking Submit. 

Add a Banner
Add a banner to your Announcements page if you wish, by clicking Control Panel > Settings > Course Design > Course Banner, browsing for an image formatted as JPG or GIF file, and clicking Submit.
Note: You must create this image using an image editor (such as Photoshop) first, or download a free image from the Web

Add and organize course content
When you add content, you can add an item (such as a syllabus or article or a lecture note), a folder, an external link, a course link, a test, a survey, or an assignment to any of the content areas in your course (note that the content areas correspond to the menu items for your course). In the Control Panel within the Content Areas area, select the content area that you would like to build upon. Using a folder for each week of the class or for the major topics presented to organize content.

Give and receive an assignment
Assignments allow Instructors to create coursework and manage the grades and feedback for each Student separately. Instructors may create Assignments that lists the name, point value and description of the Assignment; files may also be attached. After an Assignment is added to a Content Area, Students may access the Assignment, complete it in a separate file, and send it back to the Instructor. The Instructor may respond to each Student separately, sending comments about their individual Assignment and attaching files, if necessary.

Set up a discussion board Forum
In the Control Panel within the Course Tools area, click Discussion Board. Click the “Add Forum” button. Give the discussion topic a title and description. You can also modify the forum settings to allow for anonymous posting or block users. Click “Submit” to save changes.
